Slavery in America didn’t end at the conclusion of the Civil War. In fact, it had only just begun! It simply mutated from on-site plantation style slavery to a new economic slavery system. There is a difference between a Free Market the type of market we have within this country today. BIG difference.
This newly mutated form of slavery not only failed to end at the American civil war. It extended itself globally. In order to understand how we have been enslaved first requires an understanding of what slavery really is. We begin by describing what slavery was pre-civil war and how it mutated in an effort to change our thinking so that we didn’t even realize we are all still slaves.
Slavery – A Simple Description
Slavery is the act of exploiting a human being for the sole purpose of unbridled profit at the least expense to the slave owner (one who is self-labeled a member of a ‘ruling class’).
Slavery – An Example
An average slave on a cotton plantation during the early history of the United States was provided only the bare necessities for survival so he/she could function out “in the field”. Does that term ring a bell? How many times have you heard someone use that term for a job? “Out in the field…” Indeed, even some of prior slavery’s terminology has followed us even into this decade.
A slave was provided little freedom. He/she would be provided “living quarters”, food, water and some medical care. That was about as far as the generosity of the slave owner’s capabilities lent itself to the existence of the slave. In exchange, the slave would labor intensively out “in the field” working in thinning cotton and tobacco crops, irrigating, weeding and harvesting.
The slave would perform all duties while obtaining zero excess to spend for luxury. After all, luxury and profit was what the slave was obtaining FOR THE OWNER. Not for the slave. For if the wealth and the luxury was permitted to flow to the slave, the slave-driver would have no reason to own and direct the slave!
So a slave would wake up in the morning, perform (or be punished) for the slave owner and then go to his living quarters at night where he/she would be provided a meal and a little shelter over his/her head for “safe keeping” – like a piece of property – for the next laborious day. Little to NO luxury – unless the slave owner wanted to provide his slave with a treat occasionally as an act of “incentive”.
Slavery Today: The “Job”
If you are an “average American” working a job or two, take a very close look at your life and then make the mental connection to the grim reality – you are a slave! The “ruling elite” have set things up so ingeniously that you wouldn’t even consider such a dreadful thought that you were a slave. After all, you can quit a “job” whenever you want and then move to a “different job”. Freedom, right? WRONG!
What they have done is utilized the media, movies from hollywood and other methods in an effort to gain a strong control over your THINKING. If one can control the thought processes of an entire population, one can live on as a “ruling elite” at the expense of your being a slave. The key for them is to ensure that you think “job” so that you can work for a meager wage, pay “taxes” to the ruling elite and in exchange, you are given just barely enough to survive with food, water, shelter and perhaps a bit of medicine. One little quirk was introduced though and that is a TV set. They want to provide you with just enough extra so you can afford a TV and stereo system so that you can tune in to their MIND CONTROL methodologies! So, in this sense, you are provided a “wage” for a “days work” that gives you a little more than bare minimum so you can purchase a phone, tv set and stereo system. THEY KNOW these items are what you will spend it on, because it is what the “society” they created provides for.
The “Daily Grind”
As I just mentioned above, a slave was one who was provided only the basic provisions for himself and his family so he could work the next day. Shelter. Food. Water. A little medical care. Clothing.
Let us walk through the “basic” existence most of you experience, and make the “connection” that you are indeed a slave in a slave-based mental system, shall we?
The “average” American has a “job” working for someone else. It’s what the ruling class wants you to feel “right” about. You are to have a JOB working for someone else. You are to PAY your taxes. You are to simply EXIST so you may work your JOB and PAY your taxes. And the little you have left… you are expected to buy a TV, a stereo and maybe a computer with internet connection so that they may “communicate” with you to take back the money they paid you.
It is 5:00 am. Your alarm clock is terrorizing your ear drums. You were having a good dream but alas.. it awakens you. You realize the obvious… you have to get up, take a shower and prep yourself for another day at WORK.
You roll out of bed, sometimes kind of slowly. You’re still beat from the previous day at ‘work’ – at your ‘job’. You turn on the shower and turn the cold water spigot on so you can just – WAKE UP.
You rush to have a bite to eat and then begin your commute to… WORK. Your job entails sitting for long hours or working laboriously performing some form of physical labor. You are paid what seems to be a good wage and you SHOULD have lots of money left over by the end of the month.
You end the day exhausted. Tired. “Worn out”. You look forward to getting home so you can play your video game, watch TV and maybe get on the internet. You need to obey. You need to receive your dose of mind control for the day. While you are playing, watching Tv or browsing the social networking sites on the internet to find others with your same plight – someone you can identify with in your misery -the ruling class oil barons jack up your fuel prices another 30 cents per gallon, raise your interest rates on your credit cards and your loans, raise your car insurance premiums, raise your phone bill expenses, raise your food prices and deliberately do things which cause the value of your dollars to go DOWN. For they know, when the value of your dollar goes down, you have to spend MORE OF THEM in order to pay the higher prices they artificially set! This means they extract more of your labor as your money flows upwards to them.. in more dollars and less for you.
You find that you have only been given barely enough to pay buy food, clothing and maintain an automobile so you can commute to and from work, pay your phone bill, your cable bill and pay your rent.
Oh, but you own your own home and you have a mortgage? You actually think you own the home? What happens if you cannot pay the HIGH TAXES on that home for the “privilege” of living in it which they have given you? Do you really think you own that home? How about the “interest rates” you are paying to the BANKS on that mortgate so that over 30 years you have paid for that home TWICE? You are, indeed, a SLAVE. You work hard to pay for the “privilege” of what you have… not your “right”. And the banks extract the wealth from you to themselves while leaving you with a mere meager existence.
WHY?
There remains a group of controlling power-hungry individuals who desire servitude and labor from you. Those who cause your labor to be in vain. They realize that in order for them to continue living lushly, it is a requirement for them to have someone to do the actual work while THEY take the majority of the benefits for themselves. This includes politicians, bosses and landlords, bankers.
They desire to continue their easy lives. Plain and simple. They need you to be WILLING to work a job. Pay your taxes. Pay that rent. Pay that cell phone bill. Pay those interest rates. Keep your money in the banks so they can loan it and earn interest off of it while giving you a whopping 2% to 4% annually in return. For ever dollar of yours they lend out, they make double while providing you two cents to four cents. Doesn’t that make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside?
The Solution
Every human being has specific natural abilities. Every human being has something of worth. The key is for all of us to discover those items of worth and ability and for us to put them to use in the form of becoming VALUE PRODUCERS instead of VALUE DESTROYERS. The mindset the ruling class broadcast to you every day through cable or satellite television or the internet is one which causes you to become a VALUE DESTROYER, as it causes you to destroy your own value while creating value for the ruling elite.
Begin by honing your abilities and using them as a part time business of your own. Even if it means doing it in your “spare time” when off “work duty”. Spend your spare time creating, developing and doing for yourself. And then build it up into a full-time business of your own where you can market your skills and abilities for the majority of the funds.
You know the old saying: “If you can’t beat ‘em, ya might as well join ‘em”. Believe it or not, the ruling class know there are some within the “working class” who will rise to their ranks. But they make it difficult so that you are a slave in economic servitude. Why not seize upon their expecting that some will be joining them and DO IT?
But, if you do “make it” in becoming a non-slave, don’t do as they do. Instead, value humanity. Give credence to each and every individual as a unique and worthwhile person. Don’t seek to exploit your fellow man/woman but instead, try to make the world a better place where everyone has a skill and where everyone trades their skills for the goods and services others are capable of providing.
